A consolidated index of the conformance statements in this implementation guide is planned for a future version.

In this version, conformance statements are identified in the narrative by their bolded conformance verbs - SHALL, SHALL NOT, SHOULD, SHOULD NOT, MAY, and MUST - on the pages where the requirements apply. See General Guidance, Data Exchange, Individual Reporting, Summary Reporting, Subject List Reporting, and Gaps in Care Reporting.

A candidate organization for the planned index groups requirements by framework area - General, Data Exchange, Reporting, and Gaps in Care - so that implementers can locate the requirements that apply to the scenarios they are implementing. We are seeking feedback on whether this grouping, or another organization, would be most useful.
