Code

The use of codes to specify meaning within clinical data is ubiquitous. CQL therefore supports a top-level construct for dealing with codes using a structure called Code that is consistent with the way terminologies are typically represented.

The Code type has the following elements:

Field	Card.	Type and Description
code	`1..1`	`String` The identifier for the code.
display	`0..1`	`String` A description of the code.
system	`1..1`	`String` The identifier of the code system.
version	`0..1`	`String` The version of the code system.
