Health Links Examples

Note: Below are examples illustrating use of SMART Health Links in different contexts. Other uses are possible; this set of examples is not exhaustive.

International Patient Summary (IPS)

This SMART Health Link provides access to an IPS patient summary document created according to the International Patient Summary Implementation Guide. It demonstrates the use of the U flag (no manifest required) because manifest links require a backend server.

CARIN Insurance Card

This SMART Health Link provides access to a patient insurance card that follows the CARIN Digital Insurance Card specification. The example includes the QR code that a user can scan to view the insurance card details.
