This For Comment ballot continues and expands on work to date on electronic Case Reporting (eCR) standards. It is intended to preview and get input on:
1. FHIR representations of two existing CDA document standards:

The electronic Initial Case Report eICR Version 1.1

The Reportability Response (RR) Version 1.0
(a.k.a. HL7 CDA® R2 Implementation Guide: Reportability Response, Release 1 STU Release 1.0 - US Realm)
2. The framing of technical transactions for the exchange of the eICR, the Reportability Response, and future supplemental reporting information in the milieu of supporting the following:

How to Ballot
To sign up for the ballot to provide input on this specification the same process as for any other HL7 artifacts is followed using ballot spreadsheets as described on the HL7 Balloting website .
To reference an item in the ballot, Provide the HTML Page Name and/or URL. Look for this icon to appear when you hover over a section. to copy and paste the link address into the ballot spreadsheet “URL” Column (see figure).
