A quantity constructed as the quotient of a numerator quantity divided by a denominator quantity. Common factors in the numerator and denominator are not automatically cancelled out. The data type supports titers (e.g., "1:128") and other quantities produced by laboratories that truly represent ratios. This defines a FHIR profile of the HL7 V3 RTO_PQ_PQ data type for CDA itself (the HL7 V3 RIM-based standard). Uses to be evaluated. This is not intended to be part of C-CDA on FHIR but is currently published here until we find a good home for it.
