The Boolean type stands for the values of two-valued logic. A Boolean value can be either true or false, or, as any other value may be NULL.

??.??.1 Scope and Usage

This defines a FHIR profile of the HL7 V3 BL data type for CDA itself (the HL7 V3 RIM-based standard). Uses to be evaluated. This is not intended to be part of C-CDA on FHIR but is currently published here until we find a good home for it.
