This Code system is not currently used

A set of common concept properties for use on coded systems throughout the FHIR eco-system.

This code system http://hl7.org/fhir/concept-properties defines the following codes:

CodeDisplayDefinition
inactive InactiveTrue if the concept is not considered active - e.g. not a valid concept any more. Property type is boolean, default value is false
deprecated DeprecatedThe date at which a concept was deprecated. Concepts that are deprecated but not inactive can still be used, but their use is discouraged, and they should be expected to be made inactive in a future release. Property type is dateTime
notSelectable Not SelectableThe concept is not intended to be chosen by the user - only intended to be used as a selector for other concepts. Note, though, that the interpretation of this is highly contextual; all concepts are selectable in some context. Property type is boolean
parent ParentThe concept identified in this property is a parent of the concept on which it is a property. The property type will be 'code'. The meaning of 'parent' is defined by the hierarchyMeaning attribute
child ChildThe concept identified in this property is a child of the concept on which it is a property. The property type will be 'code'. The meaning of 'child' is defined by the hierarchyMeaning attribute

Explanation of the columns that may appear on this page:

LevelA few code lists that FHIR defines are hierarchical - each code is assigned a level. See Code System for further information.
SourceThe source of the definition of the code (when the value set draws in codes defined elsewhere)
CodeThe code (used as the code in the resource instance). If the code is in italics, this indicates that the code is not selectable ('Abstract')
DisplayThe display (used in the display element of a Coding). If there is no display, implementers should not simply display the code, but map the concept into their application
