identifier	0..*	List<Identifier>	Unique identifier for the substance.
status	0..1	String	A code to indicate if the substance is actively used. Binding: A code to indicate if the substance is actively used. (required)
category	0..*	List<Concept>	A code that classifies the general type of substance. This is used for searching, sorting and display purposes. Binding: Category or classification of substance. (extensible)
code	1..1	Concept	A code (or set of codes) that identify this substance. Binding: Substance codes. (example)
description	0..1	String	A description of the substance - its appearance, handling requirements, and other usage notes.
instance	0..*	List<instance>	Substance may be used to describe a kind of substance, or a specific package/container of the substance: an instance.
ingredient	0..*	List<ingredient>	A substance can be composed of other substances.
