A record of an assistive device (e.g., eyeglasses or hearing aid) being used by a patient during a post-acute care observation. This profile based on the DeviceUseStatement resource provides a way to include information about device usage during an assessment.

  • Access details on a device used during an assessment.
  • Record or update details on a device that a patient used.

Mandatory and Must Support Data Elements

The following data elements must always be present. They are presented below with a simple human-readable explanation. The Formal Profile Definition below provides the formal summary, definitions, and terminology requirements.

Each Personal Functioning and Engagement UseOfDevice must have:

  3. a device
