Clinical Quality Language has been in use for many years as part of the structured and computable representation of clinical guidelines. In particular, the approach and methodology described in the Clinical Practice Guidelines implementation guide enables the representation of clinical guidelines with measures, decision support, registry and indicator reporting and other use cases as derivative assets.

Computable Clinical Guidelines for use in the US Realm may make use of the content in this implementation guide as these patterns and libraries are refined through implementation experience.
