2.15.7.0 US Lab Implementation Guides defined as part of FHIR

The US Laboratory Order Implementation Guides consists of three specifications: 1) laboratory orders from the ambulatory care setting to the laboratory, 2) laboratory results from the laboratory to provider in ambulatory care setting and 3) laboratory results from the laboratory to the local public health jurisdiction. These implementation guides have been prepared as a U.S. Realm Specification on behalf of the HL7 Orders and Observation Workgroup.

US Laboratory Order	A US Realm guide making use of Diagnostic Order and FHIR resources referenced by them to support ordering of laboratory tests in ambulatory care.
US Laboratory Report	A US Realm guide making use of Diagnostic Report, and FHIR resources referenced by them to support reporting of laboratory tests in ambulatory care.
US Laboratory Report to Public Health	A US Realm guide making use of Diagnostic Report, and FHIR resources referenced by them to support reporting of reportable lab tests to Public Health jurisdictions.
